Pay your mortgage.
That's what Todd Frazier thinks Adam Eaton should do when beef between the former White Sox teammates took new life between Monday night and pregame Tuesday.
Frazier and Eaton were seen together during Mets & # 39; 5-3 victory over the compatriots on Monday, when the bench almost cleared. After the game, Eaton called Frazier's behavior "childish" and said "I am a 30-year-old man with two children. I have a mortgage and everything and he wants to hear aloud when he runs from the court."
But Frazier took the high road on Monday night without giving much detail on where the bad blood originated. It changed on Tuesday when Frazier pulled his back for reporters after he realized Eaton was taking serious shots on him with his words.
The third baseman did not take any blow in itself.
"That's him. It's Adam," said Frazier. "At the end of the day you think about what a man really is. You settle things on the pitch. You are not really talking about it. That's what I do. Back today, you usually settle it. Wouldn't really talk about it, but I heard what he said. "
An incident in their time together in Chicago is apparently fuel for beef.
"There are 23 of these guys they know what happened," Frazier said. "For him to talk about it, I don't know how to talk about it. That's all I say after that." Men usually put things on the pitch. You don't have to talk about it. He started it and came to I with it & # 39; I'm a man, I have a mortgage to pay and two kids. & # 39; Pay out your mortgage loan. I don't know what to tell you. "

He continued to call Eaton" immature "and continued to show his distant in the 30th
"He understands where I come from. He knows the history of the past. He'll have to take it. I've said my piece. I'm done with it now, unless something happens … It has been going on for a while. It is in the past, but at the same time one must not forget some things.
"Nothing to the citizens. This is between me and him."
When Eaton arrived at Citi Field on Tuesday, he was greeted by a swarm of journalists looking for an answer. He did not seem to be aware of anything that would have happened in 2016 to spark feud.
"He's like an old girlfriend," Eaton said. "I don't pick it up. Very childish, honest. Do you have anything about what happened in 2016? This is 2019, guys.
" It's fun. I don't know why he brings up. I don't know what he wants to stir up or what he wants to relive. … I didn't ask for any of this. I think I'm over it. He can shout everything he wants. "
