Metro East to see new coronavirus restrictions this week

METRO EAST, Ill. – Due to the increasing positivity in coronavirus cases in Metro East, new restrictions will be in place from Wednesday, October 28 at. 12:01

Ward 1 councilor Ross Rosenberg said bars and restaurants do not allow indoor dining or bar service. All bars and restaurants close at 23:00 and reopens at the earliest at 6:00 the next day. Outdoor tables will continue to be located six feet apart. There will be no room for more parties at one table. Reservations are required. There is a limit of 25 guests or less or 25 percent of the total capacity.

Party buses are not allowed and games and casinos close at. 23:00

Rosenberg said organized group recreational activities will not change and all sports guidelines that went into effect on August 1

5, 2020, will remain in effect.
