BRANDON, Miss. (WTOK, WLBT) – Brandon police say the suspects who robbed a McDonald's are also suspected in an attempt at the meridian in Meridian and a robbery at Demopolis. They were taken into custody in Vicksburg.
The Meridian police say that these suspects were trying to rob Jimmy John's in the Meridian around. 7:30 am Monday night. The victims told the police that the suspect had a gun and wanted money.
Police in Demopolis are also investigating a robbery that happened an hour before it in the Meridian. The suspects robbed a Burger King in Demopolis.
Brandon police responded to McDonald's off of Interstate 20 on Crossgates Boulevard around 9:30 pm Monday.
According to officials, witnesses say two people arrived at the restaurant in a gold Chevrolet Impala.
One of the suspects entered the restaurant through the through window while they were carrying two small arms. The suspects then took a small sum of money from the cash register and left the building.
The suspects were then seen heading west on I-20. No shots were fired inside McDonald's.
Police were notified by the robbery at. 9.33, they were on the track at. 9.34.
When police arrived, they began receiving information that the same suspects had robbed a company in Demopolis, Ala., And in the Meridian.
At McDonald's robbery, the authorities were told that the Warren County police were involved in active persecution.
