The report says that she's been to rescue centers near their home for a “Suitable hound.” The dog would be the couple's third pet. Markle has one rescue dog, Guy, who moved with her from Canada to London and she and Prince Harry also adopted a deadly fall.

Markle used to own another dog named Bogart. However, she had to leave behind when she moved to the United Kingdom due to his old age.

The plan surfaced after baby Archie's christening

It's unclear when Markle intends to give Archie the new pooch. But the report surfaced after the christening of her son. Her mother Doria Ragland, who attended the July 6 event, is the one who reportedly encouraged Markle to get another dog. So maybe he'll get it sooner rather than later

Aside from planning Archie's christening, the couple also recently renovated Frogmore Cottage. The five-bedroom pad received updates to its kitchen, bathroom, wardrobes, and flooring. They also re-landed the garden and more.
