The state daily vaccine report contains data on “administered first doses” and “administered second dose.” Due to the available vaccines, both of which require two doses, a person is not considered “fully vaccinated” until they have received their second dose.
Below you will find data on the number of fully vaccinated people in Massachusetts as well as the number of first doses given and the total number of doses sent to the Commonwealth.
Number of fully vaccinated persons: 399,638
Number of first doses given: 1,044,210
Total doses shipped to Massachusetts: 1,688,360
