On March 24, 1973, President Richard Nixon told his lawyer general John Mitchell: "I want everybody stonewall it, let them rely on the fifth amendment, cover-up or something else if it will save it – save the plan. "The conversation unveiled in a band below the Watergate height led to Mitchell's accusation of conspiracy, barriers to justice and perjury for his role in the degradation of the Watergate scandal and eventually Nixon's departure.
So it suits the last Sunday of the 46th anniversary of the Watergate Stonewall band that we learned, Robert Mueller, presented his report to Justice Minister William Barr. A three-page letter written by Barr did a little to tell the American people what the Mueller report found. However, it gave Donald Trump a political advantage by creating the impression that he had been liberated as it was not true.
Like Nixon and Mitchell, Trump and Barr are stonewalling.

After a week of giving Trump the political advantage ̵
Barr announced that he would publish a version of the Mueller report in mid-April, almost a month after Mueller had submitted it to him, unredacted and with all evidence. Especially an almost 400-page report with thousands of pages of evidence that Congress and the public can never see Barr's way. That is unacceptable.
The responsibility of Congress is to hold the President accountable. They cannot do their job if the full Mueller report is not provided. Something less than the Trump-Barr Stonewall Report, not the Mueller report.
Moreover, Barr does not have the right to comment on the Mueller report, let alone revise or stonewall it. There is nothing in the rules that govern the special council that allows lawyer to do something similar. Nothing. Still, Barr has shown three times to date, apparently now editing the Mueller report, and taking a month to do so. The only work Barr has to do is deliver the full Mueller report, intact with the evidence, and it should have been done last Sunday.
Congress cannot do its job if the full Mueller report is not provided. Something less than the Trump-Barr Stonewall report, not the Mueller report.
Barr states that he will edit all the major jury ads from the Mueller report. That alone will result in a significant portion of the report being edited – and that is unnecessary. A judge may allow the publication of grand jury material, as did Leon Jaworski under Watergate, and Ken Starr followed the Bill Clinton study. They sought and received permission from federal judges to release grand jury material. Starr also presented his report and evidence as great for the Mueller report, and it was published within 48 hours of its completion.
The fact is, there is no reason to believe that Barr is an honest broker and for any reason he believes he is making Trump's bid. If the Mueller report ruled out Trump, it would have been released in its entirety this Sunday, not even in mid-April with Barr's editorials, omissions and interpretations, followed by his promised congressional testimony in May.
Barr, in Facts has a history of stonewalling and helps presidents avoid the consequences of investigations. Last time Barr served as Advocate General during the Iran-Contra investigation, the late New York Times boxer William Safire referred to him as "Cover Up General" because he rejected calls to appoint an independent council that could have committed many members of Reagan administration, including itself.
Barr finally returned when congressmen considered him to pursue him and appointed Lawrence Walsh as a special adviser who allowed Barr to monitor Walsh even though he was under control in the investigation. It was also reported that Barr then considered shooting Walsh for "misdemeanor," believing his investigation cost Bush re-election.
After the election in 1992, Barr continued to help President George H.W. Bush grants six figures in the Iran-Contra case, including former defense secretary Caspar Weinberger, when he went to court to complain about lying to Congress. This action undermines the Iran-Contra study and Special Counsel Walsh. When the couples were announced, Walsh said, "It demonstrates that powerful people with powerful allies can commit serious crimes in high office, deliberately misusing public confidence without consequences."
Barr's record of stonewalling is clear. The fact that Barr was confirmed by the Republican-controlled Senate based on his record is fantastic. Now, it is clear that his record is why Barr was elected as Advocate General.

The only way to know whether a conspiracy or obstacle to justice has been committed by Trump is to provide the full Mueller report to Congress and to the public . The American people deserve the truth, the full truth, and nothing but the truth. As we have learned through our country's history and especially under Watergate, you cannot stonewall the truth. Not even Trump and Barr.
And if they continue to stonewall, Trump and Barr will face the consequences of the American people and history … like Nixon and Mitchell.
