Here is a heartfelt story for the dog days in the summer.
Pictures of a labradoodle being carried up the mountain in a wheelbarrow by its owner for one last ride are pulling at the heart of the entire internet.
Carlos Fresco, 57, took his 10-year-old labradoodle, Monty, up to his favorite mountain in Brecon, Wales, where the duo walked together many times before the dog died after months of battling leukemia, making him unable to walk. , SWNS reported.
“I knew Monty was dying when his cancer returned. He was diagnosed 18 months ago and responded very well to chemotherapy,” Fresco told SWNS.
“Even though he was weak, he enjoyed all the excitement and attention that so many benevolent people received. People on the hills were so kind and just as sad about his deteriorating condition.”
