RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW / WAGT) – A man has been arrested for making a bomb threat to Augusta National Golf Course on March 25.
58-Old Robert Beckum allegedly left a note in a bathroom stall in Circle K on Wheeler Road threatening to bomb Augusta National Golf Course.
The note also contained the name of a person who allegedly would carry out bomb threat.
During the investigation, they identified Beckum as the suspect. Beckum admitted to the police that he wrote the note with someone else's
named and admitted it was a hoax.
Beckham was arrested and accused of False Public Alarm.
