Mafioso was convicted of attacking ‘Real Housewives’ man

A respected Mafioso was sentenced on Thursday to two and a half years behind bars for attacking the husband of former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo.

John Perna, 44, an alleged soldier in the Lucchese crime family, had fired Manzo’s new beau at the request of his jealous ex-husband Tom Manzo in July 2015, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael Honig said in a statement.

In return for her strong arm services, Perna reportedly got a huge discount at a wedding reception at Manzo’s ritzy Patterson restaurant, Brownstone.

“The reception was attended by over 330 guests, many of whom were members of the Lucchese Crime Family,”

; the statement said.

Perna, son of the esteemed Lucchese capo Ralph Perna, was accused of using a machete to beat up Dina Manzo’s new boyfriend (now husband) David Cantin in a parking lot in the Passaic County strip center.

Dina and Tom divorced in 2012 and divorced in 2016. They were on outs at the time of the assault.

Dina, who appeared in the first two seasons of “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” married Cantlin in 2019.

Perna will have been released for three years after he comes out of the clink – and he will have to pay nearly $ 18,000 in compensation, a federal judge ordered at the sentencing.

The alleged Cosa Nostra member is the son of the esteemed Lucchese capo Ralph Perna, who was accused by the feds of leading the faction’s Garden State operations.

Tom Manzo, 56, was recently indicted in a separate incident accusing him and co-worker of targeting his wife and her new husband in a 2017 home invasion.

“This is what happens when you look at a guy from Paterson,” one of the attackers said before leaving, according to prosecutors.
