Lukas Gage reacts as casting director insults his apartment at Zoom

Lukas Gage was one of several young actors who showed their talent in the HBO teenage drama Euphoria.

But the California-born actor is still navigating through the auditory scene in the crooked neck amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.

He had the perfect answer Friday to a cast member who accidentally insulted the actor’s apartment during a Zoom audition after he apparently forgot to put his microphone on silent.

The 25-year-old took to Instagram with the quick clip and wrote: ‘psa: if you’re like a talking instructor, be sure to turn off the microphone on zoom-mtgings’

He can be seen in a white sleeveless t-shirt standing in his living room with a flat screen TV visible over his shoulder.

‘These poor people live in these little apartments, as if I’m looking at his background and he has his TV and you know …’ the director could be heard on the other side as Gage reacted with a creeping face and told him: ‘Yeah, unmuted.’

The American vandal actor added: ‘I know it’s like an apartment. Therefore [you should] give me this job so I can get a better one. ‘

‘Oh my god, I’m so, so sorry … I’m dead,’ said the director in embarrassment, as Gage lightened the mood, ‘Listen, I live in a four-by-four box. That’s fine, just give me the job and we’ll be fine. ‘

He received an outpouring of praise from friends and other actors who have experienced similar situations with cast members.
