Lio Rush surely hit a sore spot with Patriots fans on Monday night.
Just a day after Rob Gronkowski announced his retirement, the professional wrestler took a not so subtle shot at the former Patriot's tight end while simultaneously talking some bitches to Irish Find Bálor at WWE's Monday Night Raw event in Boston.
"You should have just stopped while you were in front," Rush told Boors. "You should really have. Now you have to be forced to leave the game as a beaten, broken, hot piece of garbage like Rob Gronkowski."
As expected, it didn't take long for the crowds of TD Garden to start fighting booing.

Too soon, Lio. Too soon.
Gronk may have finished playing professional football, but don't be surprised if he comes on the WWE stage to take revenge on Rush. Only time will tell.
