The 78-year-old Michigan native was asked what he did when he left basketball and gave a very honest answer.
"I've smoked some pots," Nelson said. "I never smoked when I was playing or training so it's new to me. I do, and I have a great time. It's more legal now than it has ever been, so I enjoy it."  Nelson told the New York Times last year that he has moved to Hawaii and that Willie Nelson made him smoke smoking marijuana. He said his medical card allowed him to smoke and grow up to 10 plants legally.

Nelson has won 1,335 game coaching Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. He trained last time for the warriors in the 2009-2010 season.
