With only two days left to The Galaxy S21 series is announced, several official marketing images have been leaked confirming a few of Samsung’s most controversial decisions.
Samsung does not ship the Galaxy S21 with a charger
The first set of posters that come with permission WinFuture, involves the contents of the box. Back in October, when Apple unveiled the iPhone 12 series, Samsung boasted of its decision to send a charger with its smartphones. Forward today, and it looks like Samsung is now in the same boat as Apple. The Galaxy S21 series is set to ship with a USB-C cable, SIM exhaust pin and quick start guide for anyone who needs help setting up phones.
The Galaxy S21 series does not offer microSD card support
The remaining posters, posted on Twitter by Roland Quandt, teases several features, including standard 5G network support across the entire Galaxy S21 series and an official IP water and dust resistance class.
The cameras and their respective features are also marketed, though the highlight may be the focus on internal storage. Samsung has consistently included support for microSD cards since the Galaxy S7, yet it is removed on the Galaxy S21 line.
Instead, Samsung will make an effort to spread the word about the most expensive models. Specifically, the Galaxy S21 & S21 + will be available in a 256 GB configuration, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be sold with up to 512 GB.
