Throughout its six-episode run, Falk and winter soldier featured a couple of surprise appearances from MCU veterans, including Don Cheadles Jim Rhodes and Florence Kasumba’s Ayo. But if showrunner Malcolm Spellman had his way, the show would also have invited one of Marvel’s A-listers to perform. Unfortunately, studio manager Kevin Feige closed this idea.

While speaking with Inverse, Spellman claimed that there were discussions about Spider-Man playing a role in the series’ climax.

“Of course!” said Spellman. Then Kevin Feige says to you, ‘No. Stop it.̵

Considering how Spider-Man: Far From Home ended, it really should come as no surprise that Feige did not yet want Peter Parker back in MCU.
