Loeffler tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, but a subsequent test came back as uncertain Saturday night, according to campaign spokesman Stephen Lawson.
“Senator Loeffler took two COVID tests on Friday morning. Her quick test results were negative and she was approved to attend Friday’s events. She was informed later in the evening after public events on Friday that her PCR test came back positive. , but she was tested again Saturday morning after a conference with medical officials, and these results came back unclear Saturday night, ”Lawson said.
“She has no symptoms and she will continue to follow the CDC guidelines at quarantine until retesting is crucial and an update will be provided at that time,” Lawson said.
The campaigner added that Loeffler notifies those she had direct contact with while awaiting further tests.
