Ever since Captain America: Civil War The Spider-Man franchise has been linked to the Iron Man franchise. Now that Iron Man is no longer part of the MCU, it doesn't mean Spider-Man is no longer connected to the Iron Man universe. Happy Hogan played by Jon Favreau has a role in Spider-Man: Far From Home and he spoke to Variety about taking on the mentor role that became vacant by Tony Stark after the events of Avengers: Endgame .
"In the beginning I was a little annoyed by him, and I was a babysitter assigned to him in the background of what happened in the Civil War & # 39; but now after & # 39; Infinity War & # 39; and & # 39; Endgame & # 39; the characters have been very emotional, "Favreau says to Variety. "I like what this relationship has evolved, and of course it's good to work with an actor like Tom Holland with scenes that are both fun and emotional because I don't get to act as such often."
Favreau became viral with co-star Gwyneth Paltrow earlier this year when she said she forgot to shoot scenes for Spider-Man: Homecoming . Favreau said he did not blame her for forgetting, because he sometimes also forgets.
"With the Marvel stuff, they have so many movies at the same time, and everyone is confused with each other. Often you are not quite sure what is happening, even me. I am an executive producer at & # 39; Endgame & # 39 ;, I did not always know what was going on, said Jon Favreau.
So we should expect more people in como roles in Marvel movies who do not know what movies they are in.
