A potential fight between Conor McGregor and Jake Paul was raised again on Thursday before the Irishman faces Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 this weekend.
McGregor did not exactly close the door on a fight against Paul or his brother Logan. When asked about one of those who brought the cage-side to the Poirier fight, he replied, “I could not worry about those two dingbats.”

“I can not see that, but never say it never,” McGregor said of a potential match. “If they keep competing, and what not, who knows? But dingbats, the two of them.”
Jake Paul created some of the pressure on McGregor for a potential match. He said in a series of tweets that McGregor no longer has the “IT factor”
“You can tell that Conor has lost” it. “He no longer speaks from a place of authenticity, and you can tell he is trying to convince himself of his own lies. He is taking offense at everything now. He added another tweet with a shot at McGregor’s performance from his last Poirier match.
Paul’s next fight will be against former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley. Paul has yet to lose a boxing match as he has already beaten Ali Eson Gib, Nate Robinson and Ben Askren. All victories have come via technical knockout or knockout.

McGregor battles Poirier on Saturday. Paul’s next match is set for August 1st.
