The royal family absolutely has a strict protocol to follow. While most families have guidelines to behave in a certain way, the royals take it to another level: they must dress, eat, speak, and interact with humans in a particular way.
It is true that in recent years the family has been a little more relaxed with their seemingly endless list of rules. Kate Middleton has been seen more than once in dresses over her knees, and her sister-in-law Meghan Markle is notorious for doing things her own way. While there are some minor things that the queen allows family members to get away with, like Meghan and Princess Harry's lovely public handheld, she is said to be stuck with not having more divorces for the kings.
After all, her eldest son, Prince Charles, went through a very public divorce from Princess Diana, and there are also other family members who have also joined their marriages. In the wake of a rumored affair between Prince William and Kate's friend, Rose Hanbury, many wonder if Queen Elizabeth forbids her grandson to divorce her wife.
Prince William's infamous alleged affair
Only those who are completely out of the loop are unaware of the rumors that William had an affair with Hanbury. It all began back in April when we found out that Kate joined her relationship with her long-standing close friend. Fans knew the two had some sort of bigger fall out, and soon it was headline news that William had cheated on Kate with Rose, although it has never been officially confirmed.
Kate and William live near Rose and her husband, and the two couples spent considerable time together, so it was surprising to everyone when Kate insisted on "phasing out" her friend.
Will Kate Middleton have a divorce?
Scams are detrimental to anyone involved, and when a person is in the public eye, only a Kate that media control can do is considerably more difficult. Like everyone else, Kate and William will probably be able to make any problems they may have in their marriage privately and not have to worry about what everyone else thinks and feels.
Immediately after the rumored affair, there was even more speculation that Kate wanted to end her marriage to William. Royal fans would be destroyed if it ever happened. Fortunately, these rumors, like the cheating accusations, have not been confirmed, with several news reports reporting that they are "false".
Will Prince William and Kate Middleton be allowed to divorce?
Fortunately, the news about William and Hanbury has never been confirmed by an official source, because it looks as if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could not get divorce even if they wanted to. Apparently, the queen does not want more divorces in the royal family, so when she was married, she told her grandson to "choose wisely" because his marriage was expected to last forever.
Queen Elizabeth, after seeing many royal couples divided, will simply not allow more divorces. During her reign, she has seen his sister, Princess Margaret's marriage cease. In addition, she has seen divorce from not only Charles and Diana, but by Princess Anne and Mark Phillips and by Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
We are not only so happy that the cheating rumors have never proved true, but we are happy that the queen has decided that there should be no more divorces in the family. William and Kate are one of our favorite royal couples and we want to see them together forever.
