When David saved herself with her Disruptor Power, she put ally Tyler Crispen as a replacement, even though they agreed not to target each other until the final six.
HOH, her nominees, Da’Vonne Rogers, Enzo Palumbo and Ian Terry, faced the power of the Veto, and Da’Vonne got her first victory. Over the course of the week, she, Kevin and David have realized they are out the door, so she would use Veto to get Dani to appoint another ally.
Dani Donato Briones nominated Ian Terry after Veto
Following the Veto competition, the committee, consisting of Nicole Franzel, Cody Calafiore, Memphis Garrett, Christmas Abbott, Dani and Tyler, met that it would be in their best interest if Da’Vonne did not use Veto.
Therefore, they came up with a plan to convince Kevin and Da’Vonne that they would vote to expel Tyler so she would not remove her friend from the block. Although she told Dani she would keep the nominations the same before the competition, Da’Vonne changed her mind after HOH named all of her “untouchables” and admitted that Ian would likely go up as a replacement.

When she wanted to save her friend and get Dani to show her cards, Da’Vonne used Veto on Kevin, and HOH nominated Ian and was reluctant to disturb anyone else from the committee.
Although Dani called Ian “the ultimate farmer”, she knew her ally would save Tyler and expel the previous winner. The Alliance did not want to hurt Ian’s feelings, so they lied and told him he had their votes.
Ian Terry and Dani Donato Briones quarreled
After the nomination ceremony, Ian initially acted as if he did not care and claimed it was just a game. However, he began to realize that he might not have the votes and began to turn out.
He said he would not leave the house because of someone else’s mistake and become the first jury member. Ian also threatened with self-drafting and promised that he would not vote for anyone like the winner who voted against him.
The house guests received alcohol the next day, day 42, and Dani and Ian apparently got into an argument while Live Feeds were down. According to HOH, Ian pointed the finger at her face and accused her of putting him in his current situation.

After the argument, Ian talked about it at Christmas, hoping he did not “offend” Dani by telling her that she is the reason he is in “this place.”
The following morning, Enzo asked HOH what was happening between her and Ian, and she admitted that she was upset because he told her things she did not want to hear. Dani and Ian hugged and came up the next day.
