The reality is that some PlayStation 5 buyers have noticed that their new next generation console is suspiciously tall. Although we did not experience anything of the sort with our own review unit, it is undeniable that some PS5s appear to be taller than others, but there is a possibility that a strange adjustment may be all you need to solve your problem if you are one of the affected owners.
Frank Keienburg, lead in the game for Supercells Brawl Stars video games, noted that their PS5 was particularly high with a constant vortex when it started up. This would happen consistently and seemed to be something up with the fan itself as they disconnected it and managed to reproduce the sound with air. And then they opened it ̵
You can check out Keienburg’s journey from messy fan to fixed PS5 below:
@PlayStation Fan noise sounds broken at first boot and stays that way. Discversion. Can be heard throughout the apartment.
Fan muret? Should I return to the dealer and how long should I wait for a replacement? Other solutions? # Ps5 #fan # noise pic.twitter.com/ynVZSGWq38

Update for my update
Wayne pointed out that the sticker looks like this (from another demolition video), and I tend to agree.
How did it end up in the wrong position? No idea. Could be human error or a freak accident. Https: //t.co/S6VmN3XHZm

Overall, the PlayStation 5 is now available globally thanks to its full launch last week on November 19th. The version that includes a disk drive costs $ 499, while the all-digital console costs $ 399 instead. Retailers seem to be relatively constantly in stock, though stock flickers in and out depending on when you look. As with Best Buy in the middle of the night, you can probably expect more of this in the coming weeks. You can check out all of our previous PlayStation coverage here.
Have you managed to grab a PlayStation 5 yet? Have you had trouble being particularly tall? Tell us in the comments or feel free to post me directly on Twitter at @rollinbishop to talk about all the stuff being played![H/T GameSpot]
