Heavy storms with violent wind with great change in weather pattern

Thousands start the new month in the dark, despite the bright, sunny sky.

This is due to the fact that rounds of serious, isolated storms with violent winds overturned trees, timber bodies and guides, causing tens of thousands of power outages throughout the region on Sunday, June 30.

The storms were triggered by a cold, which has caused a great change in the weather pattern as we go towards the long July 4 weekend.

Monday July 1st gets sunny and much less humid with a high temperature in the low 80's. (For projected high temperatures throughout the region, see first picture above.)

There is a small chance of bursts, with thunderstorms also possible after noon Tuesday, July 2, which will be partly sunny with a high in the middle of the 80s.

Wednesday July 3 will be sunny with high temperature again in the mid 80s.

The Independence Day on July 4th becomes partly sunny during the day with a high temperature again in the mid 80's. It will be thunderstorms on Thursday night and into Friday, July 5th.

There is a chance for both rain and thunderstorms Friday as well as both Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7th. All three days become partly sunny with high temperatures between 83 and 87 degrees every day.
