Gun drawn at Glenbrook Mall during combat, without shots

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – The FWPD is investigating a situation that caused great concern for shoppers in Glenbrook Square Mall on Friday afternoon.

FWPD says there was a fight just after 6 p.m. 15 inside the mall and one person pulled out a gun. It was originally reported that shots were fired, but Fort Wayne police now say that is not the case.

At this time, police have not found any victims or suspects.

Police say they are evacuating the mall completely to protect everyone.

Once completely evacuated, they will search for evidence and suspect clues.

SWAT and FWPD resellers are on site.

They are asking the public to avoid the area.

We have a crew on site. Keep an eye out for updates.
