Greenville expands the mask order



On Thursday, Greenville City Council unanimously approved an extension of the emergency ordinance requiring employees and customers to wear face clothing within all retail businesses within the city limits. The regulation will be in force for 60 days. It was first put in place on June 23, 2020. The Greenville Regulation requires masks inside grocery stores and pharmacies within the city limits. Anyone who does not comply with the requirements will be fined $ 25. It also requires employees to wear masks in the following business: restaurants, shops, barbershops and salons. Anyone who does not comply with this part of the notice will be fined $ 1
