Gov. Texas’ Greg Abbott announced that his state had allocated $ 1 billion in its budget. Dollars for border security, telling “Ingraham Angle” Thursday that he will use some of that money to resume construction of the U.S.-Mexico border started by Donald Trump but quickly stopped by President Biden.
Abbott, who joined the program from the border near Del Rio, said he has had enough of the White House’s “intentional” violation of the rule of law and for the well-being of Texans and Americans, especially those in places like Del Rio and other border cities.
“To make a good point on that, we need to build a border wall,”
Abbott condemned Biden for ending the “Remain in Mexico” policy pursued by Trump with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who averted some of the influx of migrants when asked to seek asylum in Mexico before crossing into the United States.
“[Trump] started building the border wall, and now all this suddenly disappeared, and as you pointed out, it has led to a dramatic increase in the number of people crossing the border, but it is not only on the company’s minors, its people caused great harm and damage to the residents right here in Del Rio as while his people up and down the entire border, ”Abbott said.
In his statement of exception, Abbott noted that the Texas Department of Public Safety could increase sanctions for crimes such as violations, in which police raise the number of arrests of illegal immigrants entering Texans’ land.
“We will take this very seriously, we will do everything to secure our border, including building a border wall,” he said, adding that he will share details of this effort later next week.
Abbott continued to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris’ ineffective tact against border security, calling the administration’s behavior “intentional” and worse.
“[I]t is targeted. It is ruthless violation of border laws, of immigration laws, of border communities, of obviously anyone in the United States, ”he said.

“The Biden administration has left the border [and] any pretense of border security, anyone pretending to enforce our immigration laws. They have laughed it off in exactly the same way as the vice president laughed at it in the interview the other day, and that is a joke for the Biden administration … “
Harris told in particular when Nester News anchor Lester Holt recently asked her about the crisis at the border.
“But we do not take it as a joke in Texas. We will step up and react the way we must react to ensure the sovereignty of our state to prevent the invasion that is taking place before our very own eyes,” Abbott added.
