Seznam, which attracts as much advertising payments as Google in the Czech Republic, made its complaint to the European Commission nearly three years ago.
It joined the lobbying company FairSearch, whose complaint triggered the European Commission's inquiry into Google's mobile operating system Android, which ultimately led to a record $ 4.34bn.
"Time runs out, every day makes a difference. Seznam loses market share because of Google's search engine installed by default on mobiles," says Michal Feix, Adam's former CEO and now a partner in a consulting firm advising the company.
EU antitrust enforcement said that Google, a device in Alphabet Inc., had used its Android market power to prevent rivals.
Google & # 39; senior vice president of global affairs, Kent Walker, said for a week this week that his company was planning to encourage users to choose their favorite browsers and search apps, but he did not give details.
Feix welcomes this idea in principle. "It is probably the solution we are looking at, but it depends on the details. Walker's blog lacked details," he said.
Google spokesman Al Verney refused to comment.
