Google apparently reveals Pixel Buds A in marketing email

As we approach Google I / O 2021, rumors have started pointing to new hardware, including a Pixel 5A and Pixel Buds A, a cheaper set of genuine wireless earphones that would be placed under the company’s main pair. Google seems to have come ahead of itself, as according to 9to5Google, a new email contains a picture of olive green Pixel Buds that is not part of the current lineup. The interior of the case is also color-matched with the knobs, which is not the case with the second generation of Pixel Buds. Another clue that these are new is that the inner part of the earplugs is also the same green.

So with the things considered, we are likely to see the upcoming Pixel Buds A in this image. They look almost identical to the regular Pixel Buds, even though the other LED inside the charging box is either gone or just not visible in this shot. There̵

A new application to the Federal Communications Commission is likely for these earplugs. We’ll have to wait for Google’s possible announcement to see what features have been cut if the company actually plans to sell these at a particularly lower price than standard Pixel Buds. With those going for $ 179, Google might aim to reach a price point of $ 99 or $ 129.

Google’s 2nd generation Pixel Buds had some issues with connection stability when they were first shipped, which the company tried to fix during several firmware updates. But some customers continue to encounter issues like dropouts and other errors, so hopefully Google will say a thing or two about connectivity when it comes to announcing these Pixel Buds A.
