EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The season’s biggest game for the New York Giants came from Daniel Jones.
It was only from his legs, not his arm. Jones pulled a read opportunity in the second quarter Sunday against the Washington Football Team for a 49-yard run.
It was his second race this season at this game in at least 20 yards and the longest race of his young career.
Jones faked the handoff up the middle at the first-and-10 game with 11:50 left in the first half to run back Devonta Freeman and hold the ball.
Even the cameraman fooled 🤯

He split a gaping hole on the left side of the inside hip of the tight end Evan Engram and ran down the left sideline.
It looked like Jones had a chance to run out of defenders, but he was tracked down by Washington’s 29-yard line by Jimmy Moreland. The Giants would eventually settle for a field goal.
