Funeral, visitation services announced for Trooper Brooke Jones-Story



PECATONICA (WREX) – Illinois State Police Announcement and Funeral Services for Falling District 16 Trooper Brooke Jones-Story.

A visitation for Trooper Jones-Story will take place on Tuesday, April 2, at Warren High School, where Jones-Story attended.

The visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm with a law enforcement walk-through beginning at 6 p.m. Officers will start to line up around 4:30 pm

On Wednesday, a funeral for Jones-Story will also be held at Warren High School beginning at 2 pm

Illinois State Police ask officers and anyone attending to not arrive before. Warren High School is located at 311 South Water Street, Warren, IL.

The family will hold a private burial service.

Trooper Brooke Jones-Story grew up in Stockton, Illinois where she attended Warren High
School. He received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of
Wisconsin-Parkside in 2006.

Trooper Jones-Story started her career with the ISP in June of 2007 as a member of Cadet Class 115. Upon her graduation from the ISP Academy, she was assigned to District 16 in Pecatonica; Throughout her career with the ISP, Trooper Jones-Story was recognized for her hard work,
positive attitude, and for being a rising leader among her peers. Brooke married retired
Master Sergeant Robert Story on October 13, 2012 in Galena.

Trooper Brooke Jones-Story is survived by her husband, parents, sister, brother,
stepchildren, step-grandchild, maternal grandmother and family and friends who loved her
dearly. The ISP would like to thank the public for their support and condolences during this difficult time
