DawgNation Happy Hour: Formerly great from Dawgs gives reason to be fired for UGA-Kentucky

Georgia has a long, if not always memorable history against Kentucky. This week̵

7;s edition of DawgNation Happy Hour looked back at some of these games – including some surprise performances in 1999 and 2000 and some foreplay with wildcats in 2002.

Then we settle down and discuss what has clearly been the hot topic of the last two weeks: Stetson Bennett’s status as UGA’s starting quarterback. Granted, most of everything that could be said on this topic has been said now, and Bennett’s performance against the Wildcats is the only one that has a chance to silence the debate, but Jon urges his experience as a former player to give the Bulldogs fans some things to look for from Bennett vs. Kentucky.

The last topic addressed at DawgNation Happy Hour this week is the looming showdown with Florida. Of course, UGA coaches and players can’t look beyond Saturday’s game against Kentucky, but fans and media are not under such restrictions.

After all, the game against the Gators is without a doubt the most important regular season game for the UGA, and there is a natural curiosity to see the Bulldogs bounce back today as a preview of what will happen in Jacksonville next week. .
