As Elon Musk prepares to take the stage as host Saturday Night Live on May 8, Tesla CEO and SpaceX chief engineer asked Twitter for some input. Of course, the Internet had lots of opinions, including one from SNL star Chris Redd, who did not miss the opportunity for fun to rib Musk.

On Saturday, Musk tweed his 52 million followers, asking for some “ski ideas”

; for the iconic show tonight. In follow-up tweets, he tossed a few options, including “Irony Man – defeating villains using the power of irony” and “Baby Shark & Shark Tank merge into form Baby shark tank… “He also suggested” Woke James Bond. “

In response, Redd, a cast member since 2017, shot “First I want to call them sketches,” a jab at Musk’s use of the word “shit.” Redd’s response received more than 29,000 likes.

But while others SNL stars have been critical of Musk’s hosting concert, Emmy winner Redd suggested that was not the case here. In response to Chrissy Teigen who feels “used uncomfortable” with regard to SNL situation, he replied, “everything is fine LMAO.”

And when another Twitter user jumped to Musk’s defense by tweeting, “What’s Elon’s biggest sin, I ask SNL softies? “Redd set the record straight.” I’m a professional s *** talker, you clown, “he tweeted.” You sound stupid. “Redd told another commenter that he was” in a fried state.

But last week’s news that Musk would host the upcoming episode has aroused some strong emotions among the cast. While SNL standout Aidy Bryant directly calls Musk by name, she posted a screenshot of a tweet from former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders criticizing how a small group of people “own more wealth than the lower half of our people.” Musk is known as one of the richest individuals in the world.

Fellow SNL star Bowen Yang also commented in his Instagram Stories last week, Weekly entertainment reported. While the post page has expired, the comedian posted Musk’s tweet with the words “Let’s find out how live Saturday Night Live really is, “adds” What the f *** does that even mean? ” In response.

Cast member Andrew Dismukes, meanwhile, posted a picture of the legendary SNL alum Cheri Oteri with the statement “The only CEO I want to make a sketch with is Cher-E Oteri.”

SNL cast members who are upset about Musk’s hosting job reportedly have the option of not appearing in the episode, Page Six reported last week. However, it is still unclear if any cast members will be sitting the episode out.

Miley Cyrus is set to appear as a musical guest in the May 8 episode.

In addition to SNL cast members, several other supporters of Musk had plenty to say in response to his tweet looking for “ski ideas.”

Activist and Parkland survivor Cameron Kasky responded in a few words, saying “Give your money to people who need it.”

Another supporter said Musk should perform a sketch that plays on his role in the fight against cryptocurrency Dogecoin, aptly titled “The Dog Father.”
