Elder Scrolls 6 looks like an exclusive Xbox Series X / PC, which Phil Spencer has almost confirmed.
In an interview with Kotaku, Spencer is asked about Microsoft’s recent acquisition of ZeniMax, the parent company of Bethesda and ID software. As we reported earlier, the publishers of Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout, Doom, and many more high-profile franchises participated in Xbox Game Studios. Of course, we all wondered if that meant playing like the highly anticipated Oldest rolls 6 could be exclusive to Xbox Series X and pc.
“Is it possible to get a $ 7.5 billion investment if you do not sell Elder Scrolls 6 on PlayStation?”
Spencer says though that he’s thinking about “where people should play and the number of devices we had and we have xCloud and PC and Game Pass and our console base, I don’t have to send them games on any platform other than the platforms that we support to make the agreement work for us. Whatever that means. ”
So while this is not a direct confirmation that titles like Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 5 will not be released PS5, it is as close as we have come to one. Phil Spencer’s mind has clearly enticed by making a few big budget, big-sell titles Xbox Series X exclusive.
