All the pre-match festivities are over after the final outing between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor at UFC 264 ceremonial deliberations.
The intensity has evolved as the lightweight trilogy battle approaches, and after gaining weight Friday morning by official weigh-in, Poirier (27-6 MMA, 19-5 UFC) and McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC came ) face to face one last time before dividing the octagon.
After McGregor tried to fire Poirier during their press conference staring down, UFC President Dana White took no risk of letting the pair get physical. He was on guard for staredown, but both athletes were still locked when they last looked.

UFC 264 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The motherboard is sent on pay-per-view after preliminary on ESPN and ESPN +.
The event marks the rubber duel between the two lightweight candidates after McGregor won the first meeting at the first round of TKO at UFC 178 in September 2014, with Poirier taking the rematch with the second round of TKO at UFC 257 in January.
