“I pushed the boundaries a lot, many different times in my life.”
The former child star grew up to be one of the bad angels in Charlie’s angels has a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award, and now she hosts her own talk show a day.
During a recent interview with CBS Sunday morning, the actress reflected on her time in the spotlight, including the one time she flashed late night talk show host David Letterman in 1995.
“I think if there’s one thing I’ve learned in a very long life in front of people, there’s a line,” Drew said of the famous moment.
“There’s TMI. And I know a little bit what that line is, and it’s a feeling,” she added.
When asked if she’s talked to Letterman or other hosts about how to step into her new concert, Drew said, “All of the above actually. They all say tempo themselves.”
Later in the interview, Drew reflected on his tumultuous younger years and said, “I pushed the boundaries a lot, many different times in my life. And I’m very lucky, I know. I tested, I pushed, probably too many times.”
“I was at least trying to meet that blessing by having learned something,” she added.
This is not the first time the 45-year-old has opened up to blink Letterman. Back in 2018, Drew told Stephen Colbert: “I sometimes think, ‘It does not feel like me.’ It’s like a distant memory that does not look like me – but it’s me. And it’s a little cool. “
“I’m still down with it. I’m the mother of two. I do not know. I’m so different now that it does not feel like me, but I’m still in it,” she said with a smile.
