Just a few days before hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on suspicion of brain aneurysm, his foreign wife Nicole filed for divorce, accusing him of years of violent and emotional abuse.
The 55-year-old music tycoon – real name Andre Young – held a gun to her head, punched her in the face and threw her against a wall, lifting her off her feet by her neck, she claimed in court documents found by DailyMail.com.
Nicole, 50 – who is fighting in court for her share of Dres’ estimated empire of 1 billion. $ – accused her of shocking accusations in response to her soon-to-be ex-husband’s statement last week that ̵
Nicole blew up Dre’s statements as ‘obvious lies’.
‘I have explained in unpleasant and painful details the abuse that Andre has committed against me in our more than 25 years of relationship,’ she said.

‘I’m fine’: Dre posted this picture of himself in the studio as he updated fans on his health earlier this week
‘Others held a gun to my head on two occasions, on January 8, 2000 and November 20, 2001,’ she claimed. ‘Others have hit me in the head / face on two occasions, in 1999 and January 8, 2000.
‘Others kicked down the door to a bedroom where I hid from his anger in 2016,’ she added. ‘Others have verbally and emotionally decimated my personality to the extent that I am currently suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.’
Nicole admitted that Dre was right when he also claimed in his statement that the police were never called to their home during their marriage.
However, she added, ‘Others conspicuously omit the fact that the police were called in September 1995, shortly before our marriage, after he threw me up against a wall and lifted me from the floor by my neck.
‘During our marriage, I considered calling the police several times, but as I fell deeper into the abusive relationship, my fear of Andre outweighed any confidence I had that the police could help me.’
Of Dre’s claim that there is no evidence of his abuse of Nicole, she added: ‘First, there is documented evidence of his abuse that has been produced.
Nicole claimed that Dre held a gun to her head, punched her in the face and threw her against a wall, lifting her off her feet by her neck
Second, I have also testified extensively and painfully about Andre’s relentless campaign of abuse and control over me for more than half of my life.
How much does Dr. Dre and Nicole Young Attorney Fees?
No wonder celebrities pay millions of litigation costs when divorced.
Here is a look at the fees charged by Dr. Dre’s legal team and his foreign wife Nicole.
Hans – led by one of LA’s best divorce lawyers, Laura Wasser, and a team of seven lawyers – costs the hip-hop star $ 5,565 combined ….. PER HOUR!
Hers – run by equally respected LA divorce attorneys Samantha Spector and Lisa Meyer with a team of seven attorneys – is only $ 4,665 an hour combined.
Each team has seven attorneys and attorneys who earn $ 315 to $ 1,000 per hour. Nice work if you can get it.
‘It is misleading, outrageous and insulting for Others to suggest that I have not been abused because, as a victim of relentless abuse and isolation, I did not create and maintain a simultaneous record of the abuse inflicted on me.
‘It is well known and accepted that most victims of domestic violence do not have evidence of their abuse’.
Shortly after her harsh statement to the LA Superior Court, Nicole’s legal team hugged Dr. Dre’s lawyers, and the end result was reportedly that Dre – still in his hospital bed in Cedars Sinai, LA – this week signed a deal paying Nicole a lump sum of $ 2 million in temporary support until their next court hearing in April.
Since their split in June, Dre had paid Nicole $ 293,000 a month in support. But she is asking the court to force him to pay her nearly $ 2 million a month plus an additional $ 5 million for attorney’s fees, Wasser claims, calling ‘exorbitant and outrageous.’
Nicole – who claimed in legal documents that Dre has more than $ 260 million in cash and Apple shares – claims that she has the right to continue the lavish lifestyle she had as Mrs. Andre Young – which she said cost about $ 2, $ 3 million a month. .
To support her argument that she needs $ 2 million or so a month to maintain ‘her status quo’, Nicole filed a statement of income and expenses this week showing monthly expenses of $ 2,530,000 – inclusive $ 900,000 for entertainment, gifts and vacations, $ 135,000 for clothing, $ 30,000 for groceries and $ 10,000 for laundry and cleaning.
She listed zero income but some $ 80,000 in cash and bank accounts.
Nicole has accused Dre of ‘violent and repetitive marital behavior’, and she has filed legal documents wanting to know if he had had a child outside of their marriage.
She also named three of his alleged mistresses – singer Jillian Speer, model who became skin care entrepreneur Kili Anderson and Crystal Rogers, aka Crystal Sierra, known as ‘Queen of Latin hip-hop’ – and asked a judge to call them as witnesses in the divorce case.
Dre made a statement last week that ‘at no time did I abuse Nicole or threaten her physical safety’ during their 24-year marriage
Nicole’s lawyers have launched a campaign to get Dre’s lawyer, the acclaimed LA divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, disqualified from the case because Wasser now works with another lawyer who previously worked for Nicole and Dre when they were together.
In legal documents found by DailyMail.com, Nicole’s lawyer, Samantha Spector, asked a judge to prevent Wasser, saying that Howard King and his law firm, including Peter Paterno, had represented both Nicole and Dre from the creation of a joint trust in April. 1996 a month before they were married through further lawsuits and real estate transactions until 2020.
In a letter from 2018, King identified himself as ‘the young family lawyer’, said Spector – who added that in 1996 King had even ‘provided legal advice to Andre regarding a possible agreement with Nicole before the marriage.’
The pre-marriage agreement that the couple later signed is now the biggest contentious issue in the couple’s increasingly bitter divorce act.
‘Nicole reasonably believed that the King and King firm represented her and Others jointly,’ Spector said.
‘Nicole has now learned that King has provided legal services to Andre regarding the dissolution in ongoing, close association with the Wasser firm, after she filed her petition for dissolution of marriage.
‘California lawyers may not lose clients like a hot potato to avoid conflicts. Under no circumstances may they represent two clients at the same time whose interests are unfavorable.
‘And they may not, without the prior written consent of a previous client, present another person in a material related matter that is unfavorable to the previous client or one where they need confidential information learned from the previous client.
‘But that’s exactly what Howard King and the company King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano (King Firm) are trying to do here.
‘King has been active in working negatively towards his former client, petitioner Nicole Young and in collaboration with Wasser, Cooperman and Mandles (Wasser Firm) since the start of the dissolution case in June 2020.
Therefore, both King Firm and the Wasser firm should be disqualified from further litigation on this dispute and prevented from providing legal services to the respondent, Andre Young, in connection with this action.

Dre has previously asked the LA Superior Court for a protection order that will restrict the documents he must provide Nicole, and he has failed to disclose his most private information until Nicole signs a confidentiality agreement that keeps his personal secrets hidden from the world.

In her latest statement to the court, Dre Nicole addresses cheating accusations and reveals the contents of an emotionally charged email she sent him the day she filed for divorce, on June 29, 2020, in which she wrote: ‘In my heart and my gut by I that you are with other people.
‘I’m sure I do not have to tell you the incredible amount of pain and pain I know you are not faithful …’
The biggest issue in this increasingly hostile divorce has been a prenuptial agreement (PMA), which the couple signed just before they got married in Maui, Hawaii on May 25, 1996.
Nicole claims she was ‘forced’ to sign the PMA, and after their marriage, Dre tore it up in a romantic gesture of love for her. He insists he did not force her to sign the PMA, he never destroyed it, and it was never changed.
Last week, he produced a 24-page copy of the PMA – signed by him and Nicole – in which he and she agreed to keep separate all income and property acquired before and during the marriage, and also that the PMA could only be amended in writing.
Dre has asked the court to determine whether the PMA is valid and enforceable.
