Long before Prince Harry settled with Meghan Markle, he was an active member of London's social scene. As a young boy, Harry was often photographed out and about with friends as well as partying in various clubs. Even when his brother, Prince William, married a college girlfriend, Harry still lived the bachelor's life.
Of course it was a while ago, and Harry is another person now. There is no doubt marry has given Harry's social circle a bit of a shake-up. But does that mean that Harry also abandoned his platonic female friends whom he used to hang out with? Was it something Meghan made him do?

Prince Harry certainly had friends of different sexes. He was known as a very social and charming guy, so he tied up with many people he met. In particular, Harry had several female friends, some of whom were also rumors of having romantic relationships with him.
For example, he knew Natalie Pinkham, a presenter at Sky Sports for more than 10 years. She was supposedly a "drinking companion" whom he enjoyed spending time with. Although there were many kinds of rumors that they could be connected, Pinkham always welcomed the fact that they were just platonic friends.
Another person Harry had been linked to is Astrid Harbord, a friend of Kate Middleton. In 2009, the two were caught in a club together before returning to Harry's apartment.
Harry was also close to several famous female singers, such as Natalie Imbruglia, Ellie Goulding and Molly King.
Did Prince Harry end his friendships with many women after marrying?
Although allegedly close to many women, a few of them were not invited to Harry and Meghan's wedding.
Pinkham, who had been friends with Harry for a long time, didn't get the invitation to either the wedding ceremony or the reception. "Natalie was a little surprised to be there," an insider said at the time. "She and Harry are still talking, so it was a surprise to her not to be invited at all."
Harbord was also not there, although they were also close to other royal family members. Similarly, the famous female celebrity friends – such as Natalie Imbruglia, Ellie Goulding and Molly King – were not seen.
This led some spectators to believe that Harry might have phased many female friends out of his life.
Has Meghan Markle got Prince Harry to release these female friends?
People have also asked if it was because of Meghan that Harry no longer talks to his old friends. A source close to Pinkham showed that her friendship with Harry began to fake when he came with Meghan.
"They were super dense, but it was purely platonic," said the source of The Sun. "When Harry came with Meghan, their relationship changed quickly – it just went flat and noticeably cooled."
However, the source shared that Pinkham cannot quickly point to Meghan, as it could also be the case with security tightening in the castle.
It is worth noting that there have been reports that old friends of Harry, especially those he used to stick with, are not big fans of Meghan. Her love of wellness, healthy eating and yoga at dawn has set her in opposition to friends who prefer to see the prince's party for the early hours with them.
Thus, it is difficult to know whether Harry has lost some friends because Meghan told him or because his new and healthier lifestyle simply does not fit theirs.
