When injured, Los Angeles Dodger's injuries start during spring training and the start of the normal season, the club relied on its impressive depth to weather. Among those who initially benefited from increased roles included both Julio Urias and Ross Stripling.
Originally the taboo to a center of gravity to begin the season, Urias was turned into the rotation because Rich Hill suffered a knee injury in his final cactus League outing. The 22-year-old took full advantage of his newfound opportunity.

Roberts offered high praise for Urias starting, but thinks his steps to bullpen are the best scenario for both sides forward, through SportsNet LA:
