Crysis Remastered Comparison Trailer released



In front of Crysis RemasteredDebuting later this week, developer Crytek has released a brand new comparison trailer for the game. In the trailer, viewers can get a glimpse of how the upcoming re-release compares graphically with the game in 2007. The original Crysis has long been known for pushing hardware to the limit, and it seems that Crytek has leaned into the fact with the new “Can it Run Crysis” mode, which allegedly will “push even the most powerful hardware to its limits “, according to the game̵

The trailer really shows how far technology has come in the last 13 years! While the original Crysis still holding up nicely, Crysis Remastered seems like it will take things to a much greater level. With its beam tracking, rippling caustic and structures up to 8K, the game’s surroundings look nothing short of breathtaking. Crysis Remasteredwaters look especially impressive thanks to real-time reflections. Similarly, explosions have also seen improvements, making them pop in a way that was previously impossible. For those who enjoyed the original Crysis and those who have not yet experienced the series, Crysis Remastered seems like it will have a lot to offer.

For the uninitiated, Crysis Remastered puts players in the role of Nomad, an operator with Delta Force’s Raptor Team. The team is sent into action following an emergency call after an team of archaeologists was apparently kidnapped by North Korea. However, the Raptor Team quickly finds itself entangled in an alien race known as Ceph. Nomad and the rest of the Raptor Team wear nanodorks that give them enhanced abilities. IN Crysis Remastered, Nomad’s costume is shown in 8K, and it may just be one of the most amazing pictures seen in the trailer!

Fortunately, fans do not have to wait much longer to see what the game’s new graphics look like! Crysis Remastered will be released on September 18 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store. The game is currently available on the Nintendo Switch.
