It was reported last month that police in Parker, Colorado had launched a criminal investigation into undisclosed allegations against Broncos linebacker Von Miller and on Tuesday brought an update on the status of the case.
Police have handed over the results of the investigation to the 18th District Attorney in Colorado for review. As this review is ongoing, no charges have been filed in the case at this time, and no charges may have been filed at any time in the future.
“No tax decision has been made. There is no case, “said DA spokeswoman Vikki Magoya via Mike Klis from KUSA.
Miller would be subject to possible NFL discipline under personal behavior policy, but more information on the nature of the allegations and a decision by the DA on how to proceed will likely determine how the league will handle the matter. Miller is under contract with the Broncos, though they have not taken advantage of their 2021 opportunity at this time.
