A resident of Humboldt County in the 1980s has died at a hospital outside the county after being diagnosed with COVID-19. This marks the eighth death of a county official related to the virus.
Dr. Humboldt County Health Officer Teresa Frankovich sent her condolences to the family. “Our thoughts are with friends and family members who are feeling this loss,” she said.
Seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported today, bringing the number of county residents who tested positive for the virus to 508.
