Press Release from Humboldt County Joint Information Center:
The total number of residents in Humboldt County who have tested positive for COVID-19 now stands at 479, after a further six cases were reported today.
Forest fires continue to burn across the state, with many evacuees seeking shelter locally in individual households or in hotels, campsites, motorhomes and short-term leases. Dr. Humboldt County Health Officer Teresa Frankovich said gathering with those outside your household is inherently risky in COVID̵7;s time. “As we offer our support to those in need of forest fire relief, we should all have COVID-19 precautions in mind.”
