SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Stretches of two Syracuse roads will be closed intermittently over the next few weeks for reconstruction projects, according to the city.
On Monday, crews will start milling Ackerman Avenue, which means removing the top layer of pavement, on Ackerman Avenue between Broad Street and Euclid Avenue. Paving will occur after that.
On Tuesday, crews will start removing and replacing the curbs along Bellevue Avenue between Velasko Road and Geddes Street. The road will also be milled and paved when the curbs are done.
The Ackerman Avenue project could take up to two weeks, and the Bellevue Avenue project could take three to four weeks. Bad weather might also influence the start or finish dates.
The projects will result in temporary lane and road closures.
