BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – Don't feel like cooking for the holidays? A lot of local restaurants in Bowling Green are working to have folks covered.
Diners and buffets like iHop and Ryan were open for business on Christmas Eve.
There was a cheerful mood among employees and guests alike. They are celebrating Christmastime.
"At work, we are family. Outside of work, we're family. "Just to get up and have breakfast on Christmas Eve," said Montez Hazel, who dined at Christmas Eve.

According to the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, both restaurants, along with those listed below, will be open Christmas Day.
Domi no's Pizza (3 locations): open 4:00 pm until midnight both days
IHop: open 6:00 am.m. until 10:00 p.m. both days
Jumbo China Buffet: open 11:00 am.m. until 10:00 p.m. both days
Ramada Inn Restaurant: 5:00 pm until 11:00 p.m. both days
Ryan's Family Steak House: open 11:00 am until 3:00 pm Christmas Eve, 11:00 am until 6:00 p.m. Christmas Day
Samurai Steak & Sushi: open 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, then 4:00 pm until 10:00 p.m. Christmas Day
Steak 'N Shake: open 24 hours both days
Waffle House: open 24 hours both days
