“We embrace it,” Chrissy said of her son’s character.
“I think more men should embrace their feelings,” she continued. “I think it’s really important in this world. That it’s OK to cry and it’s OK to be sad or sad about something. We want to talk it through and it’s OK.”
“John is so good at showing them how he treats me, how I can be a good man, how I can be a good father,” she added. “It’s wonderful to see.”
Chrissy shared the photo on Instagram last month, joking with the caption that Miles had crashed his thirst trap photo shoot.
And while many commentators praised the image, saying it embodies the reality of being the mother of a young child, it drew criticism from several others who said it was “inappropriate”
“If we do not teach little boys that women’s bodies are shameful, then they do not grow up believing that they are,” wrote one commentator. “Love how open you are with your parenting style / moments!”
Another person simply said, “Anyone who finds this weird should investigate their own hang-ups.”
