Winter soldier elevator fight is still one of the best action scenes in a Marvel movie – I love what you love it, hell, It's not surprising that Chris Evans also loves it. But what is surprising is just why Evans looks back on getting a small box filled with stuntmen.
In a new video interview, he talked about his favorite battle scene as Cap, and the actor quickly called Winter Soldier 's elevator scene as his pick. But why? Well, first of all, Evans actually shot for Winter Soldier and, firstly, the actor thought he really had something to prove like Steve Rogers:
I'm partly into the giant scene in the elevator. It was the first scene we shot in the second Captain America movie. It was my first time working with the Russians, it was the first time it felt like Cap was a bit of himself. In the first Cap movie you know, you really felt everyone was holding my hand and the first Avengers movie I just did my best not to get in the way. The other Cap movie is the one I really felt I suppose, pressure, and the first lift battle scene came out really good in my opinion.
We already knew that Evans went through a party in practice and training for the fight for Infinity War 's release last year, he proudly shared his training clip who remembers his movements and blocks the fight against other actors on social media. But it is interesting that Evans sees his commitment to it as proving that he could really stand on his own as Captain America, even after The First Avenger and Avengers . Five years after Winter Soldier 's release, I think it is safe to say that he is more than proven himself as the star-studded man with a plan.
