Celebrities, including Dwyane Wade, Diplo and Tamar Braxton, show support for Lil Nas X after the rapper has said he has received homophobic comments after coming out as gay.
Tuesday, the rapper "Old Town Road" took to Instagram to send a sad face emoji wearing a cowboy hat and holding a gun and writing: "Say another home to the phobic thing for me."
The post quickly gained an outbreak of love and support for Lil Nas X. From Wednesday afternoon, more than 754,000 people "wanted" it.
"Super proud of you", singer Tamar Braxton wrote in the comments field of the Instagram post.
"We love you tho," DJ and producer Diplo wrote.
Dwyane Wade told the rapper to "focus on everything good in your life." The basketball star, who retired from the NBA in April, recently showed support for his 12-year-old son Zion who attended the Miami Beach Gay Pride parade.
"Don't let these fools come to you," commented Wade on Lil Nas X's Instagram post. "Many of us here are proud of who and what you represent."
Even presidential candidates urgent for the defense of Lil Nas X.
Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, tweeted : "@LilNasX has gone from viral sensation to groundbreaking musician. thrilled and inspired to see him stand in truth as a member of the LGBTQ community. Welcome to the family! #pride. "
Buttigieg, who ran in the democratic president's primary, emerged as gay in an up-ed in 2015
Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, came out as gay in a tweet on the last Pride Month in June.
"Some of you already know, some of it doesn't care, some of you are not gone fwm [f–k with me] no more. But before this month ends, I will listen carefully to c7osure", read June 30 tweet with reference to his new song.
In the song "C7osure" Lil Nas X says that it is tired to save who he is.  "No more actin", man who forecasts that I just let myself grow No more red light for me, baby, only green, I have to go Pack up my past in the back, oh, let my future That's what I have to do can't regret when I'm old, "he sings.
In a follow-up tweet of his album cover with a rainbow building in the background, Lil Nas X wrote," deadass thought I made it clear . "
The rapper, 20, shot to the star chamber with land rap song" Old Town Road "with Billy Ray Cyrus. The song has led the Billboard Hot 100 to the 13th week to become the longest running # 1 for a hip hop song, according to Billboard.
