Carrot Weather for iOS 14 (version 4.16) includes 5 new widget types in a range of three sizes for a total of 12 options. These include Snark, Forecast, Time, Daily and Weather Map. I have checked out an early version of the release and they offer a really good experience.
You can use multiple Carrot Weather widgets on your home screen or another app page or even create a Carrot Weather Smart Stack to easily swipe through all 5 widgets.
Here is a look at some of the options:
And in addition to the 12 large widget settings, you can customize widgets with backgrounds or, for example, with the Weather Map widget, choose which layer you want to use. Remember Tier 1-3 in-app purchases are required to unlock all widgets.
Just tap on a widget> tap Edit widget.
Do not forget that you can create your own Smart Stacks by adding multiple widgets (of the same size) and then dragging them on top of each other. In the future, you can long press on a custom Smart Stack and press “Edit Stack” to render or remove widgets.

Carrot Weather is also getting support for more complications on the Apple Watch and is showing good use of the new part of the dial. With the latest update, you can make seriously customized weather dials with a total of 25 Carrot Weather complications to choose from.
In the iPhone app, you will find a number of nice Carrot Weather Apple Watch faces that you can use. These include those based on Infrograph Modular, Infograph, Activity and more with rich weather data. Of course, you can also use these as inspiration to create your own dials.
Carrot Weather for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch is a $ 4.99 download with in-app purchases from $ 0.99 / month to unlock premium features like Apple Watch complications and the advanced iOS 14 widgets.

Home screen widgets
Check the weather right from your home screen with my new iOS 14 widgets! There are 5 different widget types: Snark, Forecast, Hourly, Daily and Weather Maps. Just slowly tap a widget to customize it with all sorts of different options. Plus: if you put all the widgets in one stack, you can have your entire forecast in just one place on your home screen.
Note: Similar to Apple Watch Complication rates, frequent background updates for widgets require at least one Tier 1 membership due to the amount of weather data used throughout the day. The Hourly and Daily widgets require Tier 1, while the Weather Maps widget requires level 3.)
More complications (level 1 required)
Use more CARROT complications to build your very own weather clock! Choose from a wide range of CARROT complications just by pressing and holding the dial on your Apple Watch. (Ignition feels like temperature, or add additional fully customized complications from my iPhone app.)
Watch Face Gallery (level 1 required)
And if you’re too overwhelmed by all the options that open up multiple complication supports, you can add one of my pre-built-in dials to your Apple Watch instead. Just check out the new Watch Face Gallery in the Apple Watch customization section of my iPhone app!
Weather map (level 2 required)
Track the fire started by your gender reveals party with the new forest fires map layer. There is also a new weather front map layer and support for European countries in the map layer for warnings of severe weather. Last but certainly not least, animations load 10 times faster!
But wait, that’s not all!
– A new “Snark” complication can now be added to the large slot of the Infograph Modular face.
– Pollen data is now available to ClimaCell users in the United States
Locations, weather maps, and settings buttons can now be found at the bottom of the Apple Watch app’s interface.
Lightning strikes now appear on the weather map with bolt icons instead of small circles.
– Two new alternative app icons, Neumorph Dark and Pride.
After applying this update, it is best to start collecting nuts for the winter. By 2020, there is still plenty of bad news left to go around.
