Cardi B has officially called it quitting Offset after three years of marriage.
The rapper and actor filed for divorce from Migos emcee on Tuesday, according to court documents obtained by Fox News, showing Cardi – whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar – as the plaintiff in the case and Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, who sued.
The divorce filing comes just days after the “WAP” practitioner shared a cryptic message to her Instagram story that read “her heart finally asked her to stop wasting her time.” She also added the caption “it’s time” with a flashing emoji, according to Hollywood Unlocked.

The resolution submission indicates that Cardi, 27, is seeking primary physical and legal custody of the couple’s only daughter, Kulture, 2. Cardi also requested that Offset, 28, make child support, although the amount is unclear at present, according to TMZ.
There are also no current indications as to whether she has requested spousal support from rapper “Rick Flair Drip”, but said she wants Offset to cover her legal fees.

The gossip site said Cardi expressed in his filing that “there is no prospect of a reconciliation” with Offset, saying they have been separated for some time.
Cardi also asked for “an equal distribution of all marital assets”, which could be an indication that there was no marital agreement in place.
In June 2018, Cardi confirmed that the couple had secretly tied the knot in September 2017 after Offset popped the issue at the Philly Powerhouse concert, and Cardi said yes on the spot. They have endured tumultuous three years ago.
Six months after saying “I do,” Cardi revealed on social media that the couple had split up. The announcement came after rumors swirled that Offset had been unfaithful in their marriage, according to People magazine.

Offset then showed up unannounced for Cardi’s set at Rolling Loud in 2018. “I just want to tell you I’m sorry, honey. I love you, ”he begged a visibly disturbed Cardi, but the two reconciled in 2019.
She also told the publication the setback she faced in front of fans after her decision to leave Offset back in her life.
“When my husband and I got into trouble – you know, he cheated and everything – and I decided to stay with him and work with him, a lot of people were so angry with me; many women felt disappointed in me, ”she recalled.

“But it’s real life,” said the “Hustlers” star. “If you love someone and you stop being with them and you’m depressed and social media tells you not to talk with the person because he cheated, you are not really happy inside until you have the conversation. ”
