BTS’s latest hit started strongly on the international music charts!

After sweeping iTunes charts in several countries around the world, BTS’s new song “Permission to Dance” has now made impressive debuts on both Spotify’s daily Global Top 50 chart and Oricon’s daily digital single chart.

“Permission to Dance” debuted at No. 2 on Spotify’s daily global chart for July 9, after collecting 7,339,385 streams on the first day.

The song also debuted as No. 1 on Spotify’s regional Top 50 charts in 13 different regions, including Korea, India, Thailand, Russia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines.

In addition, “Permission to Dance” debuted as No. 1 on Oricon’s daily digital single card dated July 9, having achieved a total of 18,232 downloads before the first day after release.
