Disney has announced that parkhopping is returning to Walt Disney World!
From January 1, 2021, a Disney Park Pass reservation is still needed for your first park of the day, but at 14:00 daily, guests with an annual pass or Park Hopper tickets will be able to proceed to another park. Please note that park capacity does not increase with the return to Park Hopping, and capacity restrictions may be in place when you reach your second park for the day. Full details of this changed Park Hopping experience are available below.
From January 1, 2021, guests who have purchased a ticket or an annual pass with Park Hopper benefits will be able to visit more than one park a day with some new changes as part of Disney’s ongoing focus on health and safety.
With the updated Park Hopper experience, guests must make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park they plan to visit AND enter the first park before visiting another. At this time, a park reservation is not required after the first park, but reservation requirements are subject to change.
In addition, Disney will set specific Park Hopper hours where this option will be available. Park Hopper classes start at 14 every day and ends at the park’s scheduled closing time. Guests will soon be able to check out DisneyWorld.com/ParkHours and the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours, as they could start earlier at a later date, depending on the day and park.
These changes are designed to help you continue to manage attendance in a way that promotes physical distance. In addition, other enhanced health and safety measures remain in place, including facial coatings required for all guests aged two years and over.
As a reminder, guests with a ticket or card that includes Park Hopper benefits get the chance to see and do more during their visit, which can mean a morning on the savannah at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and an evening stroll of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom Park or start the day living your Star wars adventures at Disney’s Hollywood Studios before one afternoon travels the world on EPCOT. Please note that the ability to visit another park will be subject to the park’s capacity limitations.
