BREAKING: Entertainment returns to the animal kingdom with celebration of ‘Festival of the Lion King’

Disney is starting the process of bringing more singers, dancers, technicians and other cast members back to work from one of the most popular shows at the Walt Disney World Resort. Expected this summer, the Harambe Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will host the fan-favorite group of musical narrators along with Simba and his friends in a “celebration” of the incomparable “Festival of the Lion King.”

7;s Festival” will be presented in a modified format to draw attention to the current environment. The show will be adjusted on stage and behind the scenes, including updates to the choreography to allow for appropriate physical distance. We also adjust how the audience sits, in line with other theater-based experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.
